Gymboree Play and Music Chiswick – Full Time Teacher

Gymboree Play & Music Chiswick runs award-winning classes for children aged 0-5 years. We are seeking a full-time employee to join our permanent team. We are a small business looking for a high-energy, outgoing person who has a passion for working with under 5’s. This role has the potential to increase in hours and there is also room for growth within the company.




  • Full-time Position: 40 hours spread Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)
  • Some weekend hours on request
  • Salary: £19,760 per annum
  • Roles include class teaching, equipment set-up and all administrative tasks associated with the running of the business
  • Permanent contract with set annual leave
  • Seeking candidates for minimum 12 months preferably longer
  • Potential for salary to increase with the growth of the business

  • excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • significant admin experience in previous roles
  • articulate with a good telephone manner
  • excellent language skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation etc
  • efficient and able to work to a tight schedule
  • a positive outlook and ‘can-do’ attitude
  • good singing voice and warm, cheerful personality
  • highly sociable and outgoing, able to form close relationships with clients and make people feel welcome and at ease
  • confident making membership sales to new families
  • able to follow instructions accurately and work both independently and as part of a team
  • reliable, trustworthy, honest and responsible
  • able to commit to the job for a minimum of 12 months
  • social media skills and ability to contribute to our Facebook and Instagram accounts




  • degree-level education
  • trained/experienced musician
  • some experience working with young children
  • driver with own car
  • some experience using a database
  • some sales experience
  • living locally to the Chiswick area or within 30-minute commute
